• Our team offers free irrigation evaluations to all regions except North West San Diego (Mission RCD service area). Plug your address into this map to see if you are located in our service area (RCD of Greater San Diego County) or the Upper San Luis Rey RCD service area.
• If you are located in the Mission RCD service area, you can receive similar support from them here. 

In addition to the free irrigation efficiency evaluations, we can also facilitate access to various rebates and grants as follows:

• County Water Authority Agricultural Water Management Program
  • $500 per acre up to a maximum of $5000 for equipment and infrastructure to improve your irrigation system.
  • For commercial farms using municipal water in SD County.
  • Production area must be at least one acre.
• CA Dept of Food & Agriculture Water Efficiency Technical Assistance
  • Rebates of $500 per pump for pump efficiency testing up to a maximum of $1000.
  • For farms under 50 acres in size or owned by members of a historically underserved community*.
  • Required for access to the Sate Water Efficiency & Enhancement Program (SWEEP)

*Historically underserved communities include:

Socially disadvantaged groups, as defined in AB 1348, including African Americans, Native Indians, Alaskan Natives, Hispanic, Latino/a, Asian Americans and Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islander groups. Other historically underserved groups of farmers include urban farmers, veteran farmers, women farmers and LGBTQ farmers.
